Harmonia Wellness Foundation was founded by Dr. Dante Dionne to help older adults and underserved communities live safer, healthier, and more confident lives through education, injury prevention, and personal resilience.
Drawing on more than 40 years of experience in traditional Japanese martial arts, over two decades of enterprise program leadership, and a career in higher education, Dr. Dionne combines evidence-informed teaching with practical, trauma-informed instruction. His work focuses on fall prevention, personal safety, situational awareness, self-advocacy, and community wellness.

As Executive Director and Chief Instructor, Dr. Dionne leads the Foundation’s educational programs, instructor development, community partnerships, and strategic initiatives. His vision is to make high-quality safety education accessible to everyone, regardless of age, income, or physical ability, by partnering with senior centers, community organizations, healthcare providers, and public agencies throughout Greater Los Angeles.
Through Harmonia Wellness Foundation, Dr. Dionne is committed to preserving the principles of traditional Japanese Budo while applying them in modern, community-based programs that improve confidence, independence, and quality of life.
